This deadass the funniest tweet ever.

Not really.. the lizard being held in this photo is an Anole and Geico Insurance uses a Gecko. Yes there is a difference.

nerd fuk off

Fuck off* and no. Also yes I am a nerd. <3

Why do people think “You know something I don’t therefore I am angry.” is ever ok?
I thought the joke way funny given the relative similarity of green anoles and madagascar giant day geckos (That’s what the Geico Gecko is, but “Fuck off nerd” Really? Like, can we be adults and not a bully from a kid’s cartoon? Seriously, at this point it’s a cliché and totes not what the cool kids are doing
So to show my NERDINESS here are some more facts.
Fact 1. Geckos are reptiles, but because of the perceived negative connotation of “reptile” in one of their ads they Geico has the quote “brought to you by America’s favorite amphibian” NO. OH HELLZ NO. I understand that public image is a thing but if you are a giant insurance corporation and you can’t fact check, not even the family but the CLASS of your mascot, someone did their job wrong.
Fact 2. There is an ad where two people in a room are debating on weather his accent is “English” or “Australian, well, being from Madagascar, which is off the southern coast of Africa, his accent is most likely supposed to be South African. Though it doesn’t sound much like it.
Fact 3. People who call other people “Nerds” as an insult are %70 more likely to get a boot in the ass from people who know things about stuff.
(Like how to fit a size 11 shoe in a rectum)
